I grew up in the dance studio. When I was 16, I began attending San Diego City College where I fell in love with modern dance and choreography and went on to complete my BA in Dance with Honors from UC Santa Barbara in 2011. I obtained my MFA in Dance: Creative Practice, at Saint Mary’s College of California in 2017. I am currently serving as dance faculty at San Diego City College and it feels good to be back where it all began.

As a choreographer, I have shared my work through programs such as the World Cultures Program at San Diego City College, San Diego Dance Theater’s Young Choreographers Showcase and Prize, UC San Diego’s ArtPower!, White Box Live Arts Fest, San Diego International Fringe Festival, and San Diego Dance Theater’s Trolley Dances to name a few. My works include various evening-length pieces, several shorter works, as well as dance films.

My biggest project to date is the development of DISCO RIOT, a nonprofit movement arts organization. We are doing some pretty rad things, so be sure to check out our website and get involved!
